Veterinary imaging

Refer A Case

Outpatient services include:

  • CT scanning (on-site 16 slice Siemens CT Scanner).
  • Echocardiography.
  • MRI scanning.
  • Ultrasonography.

We understand the importance of case consistency and customer care. With our outpatient imaging service, you can continue to manage your patient’s case whilst still having access to advanced diagnostics and imaging.

The outpatient imaging service is only suitable for patients who are clinically stable and able to undergo a GA or sedation.

How the service works

Before your patient’s visit, we will require a relevant patient history and blood results. Please ensure bloods are performed within a week prior to their procedure.

For CT or MRI imaging: Referring vets should specify which area(s) to scan and whether contrast is required. If unsure, please consider a full referral rather than outpatient.

Upon arrival, your patient will be admitted by a veterinary nurse and the procedure will be performed by a referral clinician during the day. The patient will be discharged by a veterinary nurse, no results or findings will be discussed with your client at this time.

A written interpretation report will be sent to you within 24-72 hours.
